The Nursery and Kindergarten students of Aklank Public School Celebrated green day on 2nd August 2014 to add colour to the environment month theme. The classrooms were decorated with green as the colour of the day. The children came dressed in green costume and brought green vegetable / eatable in their lunch box. The children were told the importance of the day through anecdotes and stories. Students got involved in art activity, special assembly, rhymes and dance depicting the importance of the day. It was a pretty sight.
